Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026. HOLVEX is made by Hyperkits Industries LLC ("we"). This policy covers the HOLVEX app and this website.
The short version
HOLVEX runs on your computer. We don't run servers that receive your conversations, voice, emails, business data or API keys, and the app has no analytics or tracking.
What stays on your computer
- Your settings, notes, reminders, chat history and anything HOLVEX creates.
- Your API keys and passwords, stored encrypted using your operating system's secure storage.
What leaves your computer, and where it goes
Only to the services you choose and connect, using your own accounts:
- Your AI provider (Anthropic Claude or OpenAI): what you say or type, so it can reply. If you use voice, your recorded speech goes to OpenAI for transcription.
- Optional services you connect (for example ElevenLabs voices, Perplexity research, Runway, Meshy, Stripe, Gmail, Google Calendar, Discord or Netlify): only the data needed for the feature you use.
- Weather: your city name or approximate location goes to Open-Meteo to look up the forecast.
Each of those providers handles data under its own privacy policy. HOLVEX talks to them directly from your computer; nothing passes through us.
Microphone
HOLVEX uses the microphone only when you press to talk or turn on the "Hey Holvex" wake word. Wake-word checks record short clips, which are sent to OpenAI to listen for the name.
Buying a license
Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your email address and purchase details so we can issue and look up your license key and answer billing questions. We never see your full card number. Your license key is checked inside the app, with no account and no phone-home.
This website
Our host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages visited, to run and protect the site. We don't use advertising cookies.
Children
HOLVEX is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
You can delete your data at any time by removing keys in Settings and uninstalling the app. To ask about purchase records, reply to your receipt email.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
